So, like, I just got yelled at on another forum.

It was right after I made a post on this one question game (wherein the posters before you ask questions that the following posters answer, all OOC), and one of the questions was 'Have you ever slept with anyone?'

Now, the board itself is a n00b board. I join n00b boards because I have fun pwning their little two-sentence replies, and because I like furthering their admin careers in the long run. Good karma, you know? ANYWAYS, so in light of seeing that other people had answered the question too (my first warning should have been that all of their answers were something to the effect of, "NOWAI, WAHAIT TILL MAYRIGGE!!11") I answered, in as jokingly self-deprecating a manner as I could, "I'm seventeen, male, ergo I'm constantly horny, and I have a steady boyfriend. You tell me."

The admin apparently didn't like that, and sent me a whole long PM about how this was the only warning I'd get for being "disgusting." While I admit the joke was crude, she didn't get that I was making fun of me.

So I sent a three-sentence reply PM detailing the finer points of the joke. She hasn't read it.

The coup de gras was that her warning PM was covered in syntax errors.

But I don't take well to being called 'disgusting' for reasons other than the fact that my characters miss optical organs, or for their self-mutilation tendencies, especially because that comment was particularly tame. There was nothing 'disgusting' about it.

So yeah. Ever been yelled at by an admin before? ;

Once...but that was because...I was trying to coach this person into replying with more details instead of one to two sentences...and the admin that I was being all high and mighty because I wrote like, two, five sentence paragraphs and Even That was little to me. So I told the admin to F*ck off,and yeah I was banned xD I had fun too U.U

Anyway, just leave, if they don't want to listen to you, or have no sense of humor...then you shouldn't be talking with them...xD

I really believe that was dumb...considering the thing Kat and I post...my opinion probably doesn't matter... Plus I've never been yelled at by an Admin...

But that was stupid... Some people just don't have a sense of humor. And it's rather hard to joke around with those types of people........

I'm only joking, of course. I think to some extent that there are problems when a game is opened to players other than the clique that built it, the admins (and veteran players) have to realize that they are going to get people who are different (or at least who like to play characters who are different) than what they're used to. Especially on the Intarweb tubes full of porn. I know I'm preaching to the proverbial choir... I guess I'm just wishing people (especially admins) wouldn't act like that.

Have I ever been yelled at by an admin? Not really, because I usually don't finish a character application if it looks like I won't fit in... but I figure I will eventually because of my spam (probably starting with the board I discovered George's love of duct tape at).

Oh yeah! To actually answer your question, I haven't been yelled at by an admin. I've been yelled at by mods and such because I've tried to "correct grammar" and "coherse bad behavior" but that's all. It really wasn't as cool as your's..

Uhm, that's kind of different ; Using gay as an insult isn't really funny anymore. My friends used to do it to me and it got old real fast ._.;

Most prepubescent boys have problems with their sexuality anyway, so calling him gay is probably the worst thing you can do >P

Yes I have been yelled at by a very...rude admin once
I had joined this site about some humans and weird abilities and such. The first character I made on the was a female girl and she was bisexual. No one thought anything of it so everything went fine. Later on, I changed it to Homosexual and she had a girlfriend and everything and everyone was fine.
Then, I made another character who was male and homosexual and OH NO, all the trouble starts. At first, one girl was like "Oh...gay guys. Yuck!" and I told her what I would normally say- "There's nothing wrong with that."
Then the Admin PMs me saying, "Please take your latest character down due to disgustion sexual prefrences" and I just PMed him back saying, "But I had a homosexual female on here and no one cared!" and he tells me, "Lesbians are cool but no gay guys."
..................................so yeah

I'm a mod on a lot of places... Course I get yelled at by the admin... who else do they turn to when they're flustered? XD

But that's dumb.. I have a lot of gay and bi characters on my site.. I don't really care.. they make for interesting plots XD
