Schablone has a boyish face- or at least, that's what most people think based on what they can see of it He could very possibly seem younger then he really is, but his well toned body gives away that he's probably at least in his early twenties though unlikely past 26. He takes modest pride in his appearance, not boosting about it but not letting it fall below standard. His profession might get him dirty, but that's only during work - he'll clean up nice for clients and when he wants to go somewhere, or just for the sake of feeling fresh. His clothing is neat, not fancy but not completely casual either. It's odd though, for someone so clean, to wear a mask over the mid and lower parts of their face. The mask is hand and covers his entire jaw- it ties in the back. He never removes it in public. His meals are eaten in private, so no one knows what he's hiding, or if he's hiding anything at all. Most people assume injury, other's think he's diseased, but Scha seems to be in good health most of the time, so many curious villagers get confused. Perhaps it's mutation; no one knows.
His hair, eyes and skin are dark- the eyes are actually very dark brown but appear black at even short distances. His hair used to be longer, probably braided, but for a reason he never explains, he cuts it and doesn't allow it grow any more but a little past his ears. Concerning his expressions, Schablone is very calm looking, though his emotions are hard to depict because half his face is hidden. Everyone is forced to rely on what they can see in his dark eyes or on his body language.
It's hard to get to know Schablone on a deep, personal level because he keeps to himself and doesn't like to talk about what's happened or beyond the very obvious. It's easy to find out if he wants to explain something or not- because he just won't tell you if he's uncomfortable sharing the information. He's never told anyone where he came from, other then a simple, none constructive nod if someone guesses a location. He doesn't deny the direction he once traveled from (north) but other then that, he will say nothing. He's never spoken about his family or life beyond what he does now- 'I make masks'. He has alot of secret pain locked away in his history and is constantly haunted by a ghost who just won't be laid to rest, but he takes the suffering quietly. The skeletons in the closet will remain just as such- he will probably drag them down with him to his death.
He doesn't rough around like other men, nor does he stride down the street showing off his muscles. He's modest and not very sociable- a quite reader, if you will, but he isn't a hermit. He'll talk to you if you talk to him first, and Schablone isn't and unfriendly guy- he'd just rather not talk about himself. The Mask Man is fond of children and animals, as long as they don't try to reveal his face, and is actually very good company. Maybe not for a crazy party, but he has a calm atmosphere to him that makes him ideal for chilling someone out. He doesn't raise his voice (at least, no one has seen him yell yet) and he doesn't give many threatening gestures, and while he doesn't try to seem overly inviting either, most people aren't very afraid of him. The rumors might make some nervous and some of the picky towners could detest him quite strongly, but it's very difficult to hate the steady, polite, quite mask maker once you have a few words with him.
He holds no bias for those around him; especially when it comes to his work. He will make a mask for anyone who will pay him for it.
Don't ask, don't tell. As for the mask, he never quite answers, and he never quite dispels the rumors people might spread about it's purpose.
