Power/Ability: Quinn has the "power" of understanding pretty much all forms of machinery and electronics. If it's mechanical or has wiring and circuits, the man some how knows how to work it, take it apart, or repair it -- even without prior knowledge of the -exact- type of object he is dealing with at the time. It's almost like a sixth sense, and he can "imagine" within his mind the inner workings of the machine.
Quinn is something of an eccentric man. He's usually pretty apathetic towards everything and anyone -- the whole, "Whatever, I don't give a shit" attitude. Despite being blessed with the abilities of a grade-A genius, Q is ridiculously lazy. He spends most of his time napping on his sofa or roaming the streets of the city, cigarette dangling from his lips. He's settled into a rhythm of napping, drinking, napping, drinking, drinking, napping, maybe a little work, and so on. Quinn naps rather than sleeps because he is plagued with insomnia, hence his roaming the streets and getting plastered. Every time he tries to sleep, his thoughts are haunted by complex thoughts of machinery he'd dealt with earlier in the day. Even the hum of electricity sets his mind off in a flurry of equations and what not.
He speaks rather crudely and isn't one to ever mince words or sugarcoat things. Quinn says what's on his mind, when it's on his mind, the feelings of others regardless. He has an ornery streak in him, one that drives his something of an easily set off temper. (Though he hardly gets violent.) Quinn isn't one to put up with nonsense (unless he's the one that instigates it) and can get easily annoyed. He tends to keep to himself most often, but is capable of bonding to people who manage to draw the crazy little bastard to them.
He plays favorites and blatantly so. Q knows what he likes and who he likes and that's enough for him. When it comes to friends, Q can be described as the lazy bum who shows up at odd hours of the night and crashes on your couch. He'll stay for a while, for days sometimes, mooch off your food, water, and cable before up and leaving without a word.
Quinn can be summed up as an asshole, but deep down, behind that harsh exterior is... a man who is still an asshole. It's just part of his nature. He does, however, behave -very- well in his mother's presence. Quinn's still a bit of a momma's boy. He takes her to Church every Sunday.
Quinn, despite being a lazy-ass, dresses himself relatively nicely. He wears a variety of sportscoats, dark jeans, slacks, dress-shirts, knitted vests or sweaters, and any pair of shoes ranging from leather dress shoes, to tennishoes -- what ever works for the outfit. He usually dresses in layers.
His hair is a haphazard mess of short brown spikes, his eyes an emerald green, and a small beard lines his jaw. The man's build is muscled but not overly so. He's healthy and lean, though healthy may only apply to his appearance. The man's a chain smoker, his lungs are probably black.
