Wanting Friends. [People who can be my friends]

[Time. Is. Near.]

Izzy walked along the lake with his finger brushing the water. A bird came flying at him and he froze it. He flicked the bird and it went flying off. He let a tear fall from his eye. His friends had abandoned him after he accidently blew up his best mates books. It wasn't his fault he just lost control of his powers. He sat on the side of the lake and watched the feature in the middle spit water out. He needed help with his powers, he kept losing control of his powers. More since as he started school. He hadn't seen his family for a year and he hated it. Izzy blew up a nearby twig and kicked it away. He let another set of tears fall into the river. He sat there and watched the water fall.......

[Lily]

Lily carefully walked down to the lake, a rather large book tucked in her hands. She had every intention of reading it, though she knew George would probably find her, and make her do something else. Oh well. She got to the lake's edge and sat down , about to open the book when she spotted a boy aways off. He didn't look very happy, not at all. He was blowing up things constantly, probably out of anger of some sort.

She sighed as the extroverted Lily that George had helped her conjure up took over her, and she shut the book, tucking it carefully into her large messenger bag. The little walk over to the boy seemed to make her doubt herself more. Constantly she would turn to turn back, but George's voice kept inside her mind. But what if he was just one of the other mutants that hated her?! That whispered behind her back, and started rumors about her? There were many, and she had lost track of them all. Well she would just keep a safe distance away from him, and if he wanted her to go away, she would.

She got about five inches away from the boy, and smiled softly. "Don't look so grim-reaperish all the time!" George's voice had popped into her head again. It seemed as if George had permanently stuck herself there.

She cleared her voice softly, her smile still there. "Uhm.... excuse me...... My name's Lily..... and I was wondering if you were alright.... You look angry, or sad..." she said in a rather soft tone, pausing many times as she continued to doubt herself.

[Time. Is. Near.]

Izzy kicked the last stick and stood watching the girl come out, he looked away and blew up a plant, he needed to be able to control his powers.
"Uhm.... excuse me...... My name's Lily..... and I was wondering if you were alright.... You look angry, or sad..."
Izzy wiped the tears from his eyes and looked up at her.
"Hi, my name's Izzy. No, I can't control over my powers, I hate it! I control time you see, I'm able to speed up time to make it blow things up and I'm able to slow down time so everybody except me freezes. Whenever I get angry I lose control of my powers, especially my speeding up time. I was angry with my best mate and accidently blew up his books, now him and all my other friends hate me. Will you be my friend? I'm all alone and I just want somebody I can be friends with. What power do you have?"

[Lily]

"Hi, my name's Izzy. No, I can't control over my powers, I hate it! I control time you see, I'm able to speed up time to make it blow things up and I'm able to slow down time so everybody except me freezes. Whenever I get angry I lose control of my powers, especially my speeding up time. I was angry with my best mate and accidently blew up his books, now him and all my other friends hate me. Will you be my friend? I'm all alone and I just want somebody I can be friends with. What power do you have?"

Lily sighed. She knew of all people how it felt not to control her powers. You couldn't really control her powers. Her powers controlled her. "I'm sorry. That sounds awful.... but if they are true friends, they'll probably come back and apologize for running away. They must understand that you couldn't help it....." she smiled softly still as she continued on. "I'd love to be your friend, though I'm not sure if you'd love to be mine. My power is quite unusual and frightens most people." Except for George... she thought, and her smile grew. "When my skin comes in contact with another human, I somehow..... suck the life out of them.... It takes about four minutes to happen... but when it ends the person turns to ash... It's horrible really." she explained, bracing for anything, almost sure he would get up and yell at her with something like, "SO YOU are who they were talking about! Who everyone hates! GET AWAY FROM ME!" or something of the sort.... it wasn't uncommon.

[Time. Is. Near.]

"I'm sorry. That sounds awful.... but if they are true friends, they'll probably come back and apologize for running away. They must understand that you couldn't help it.... I'd love to be your friend, though I'm not sure if you'd love to be mine. My power is quite unusual and frightens most people. When my skin comes in contact with another human, I somehow..... suck the life out of them.... It takes about four minutes to happen... but when it ends the person turns to ash... It's horrible really."
Izzy looked at her.
"I've heard about you, all of my friends talked about you, but I'm not like that I don't like to talk about people. Just one favour, make sure you don't touch me."
Izzy giggled, he was trying to be polite but then when she said his friends would come back he accidently blew up another plant. He looked at Lily and gave a half-smile.
"They won't come back, if you knew my friends, well.... Anyway, I don't know why people always talk about you and everything, you seam pretty nice. And you don't look very evil so I don't think I would worry about touching me. I would love to have a friend like you. You remind me of yourself, that your power can sometimes take over. I hope we can get to know each other more."

[Lily]

"I've heard about you, all of my friends talked about you, but I'm not like that I don't like to talk about people. Just one favour, make sure you don't touch me."

Lily laughed softly, and held up her hands. They were covered with black gloves. "No worries there........."

Lily smiled sympathetically as he blew up the plant, and explained that his friends weren't the kindest of people.

"They won't come back, if you knew my friends, well.... Anyway, I don't know why people always talk about you and everything, you seam pretty nice. And you don't look very evil so I don't think I would worry about touching me. I would love to have a friend like you. You remind me of yourself, that your power can sometimes take over. I hope we can get to know each other more."

"Well then, I s'posse they weren't that good of friends anyways, then, right? And don't worry about it. People don't like what they don't understand..." she forced a smile at this part, though she really had gotten used to be disliked. "And thanks. It's good to know that I don't look very evil...." she laughed softly. "George always tells me not to look too grim-reaper-ish... she says I'm always sad looking like a recluse. " she shrugged, and re-adjusted her messenger bag's strap on her shoulder. "Yes, it would be fun to be friends and get to know eachother better. You should meet George, she's lot's more funner than me. " she said, smiling genuinely. She was glad there were other people besides George that didn't mind her power so much.

[Time. Is. Near.]

Izzy listened carfully to everything Lily was telling him.
No worries there........."
Izzy smiled at her gloves and realised it must be hard for her, she couldn't hug, hold hands or kiss anybody, it must be torture.
"Well then, I s'posse they weren't that good of friends anyways, then, right? And don't worry about it. People don't like what they don't understand... And thanks. It's good to know that I don't look very evil.... George always tells me not to look too grim-reaper-ish... she says I'm always sad looking like a recluse. Yes, it would be fun to be friends and get to know eachother better. You should meet George, she's lot's more funner than me. ""
Izzy laughed and nodded, he felt calmer now and stood up, he shot out his hands and the lake froze along with Lily. He unfroze time and told Lily that he had to use that hand movement to slow down time.
"I would love to meet George, she seems like a nice girl."
Izzy smiled and splashed a little at the water, he wondered what power George had.
"What power does George have?"

[Lily]

She laughed as he asked about George's power. It was rather funny how it all fit together. He played with the water and asked about George's power... "It's all rather fitting, actually. She controls water. Though, she's still working with it. But she can make a shield out of it, swirl it around her head, and if she tries really hard she can manipulate the water in wate balloons and throw them at people. She's quite the prankster..." she said, still smiling. She carefully slipped off her glove, revealing a shockingly pale hand [for it never really sees the sun...] and dipped it into the water, making sure the water was the only thing her hand ever came in contact with. But it wasn't. She accidentally touched a fish. And since a fish is much more fragile than a complex human, it turned to ash almost instantaneously.

A small tear fell from Lily's eyes as she saw the ash surface. She immeadiately withdrew her hand and slipped the glove back on, wet or not. She wiped away the small tear that fell from her eyes, and stood up. It really was awful... she could never feel the warmth of another human, or animal alike without hurting them.

Izzy nodded, it had fit in with what he was doing. He saw her take her hand out and wondered what she was doing. She dipped it in the water and he saw the ashes rise. He let be quiet and then he asked.
"Is it hard, not being able to feel?"
He didn't want to be nosey but to have a power like that must horrifying.
"By the way, you can call me Time - it's my nickname, my friends.... my old friends gave it to me and I've stuck with it. Do you have a 'mutant' name?"

[Lily]

"Is it hard, not being able to feel?"

Izzy's question broke her thoughts and she looked at himg, forcing a smile. She nodded solemnly though. "It's hard... yeah. I can't feel the warmth of human skin, the fur of a cute dog.. nothing." she sighed softly. He had asked the one question that she struggled with so much.

"By the way, you can call me Time - it's my nickname, my friends.... my old friends gave it to me and I've stuck with it. Do you have a 'mutant' name?"

"Ok. And yeah...... They call me red. You probably wouldn't understand why. Most people don't.... but I suposse when I come in contact with another human and my power takes place... My bright blue eyes turn to a murderous crimson....... I've only seen it once, but it's awful.... And they really couldn't think of another nickname for me... " she shrugged. "I really don't go by it, I usually just go by LIly."

[Time. Is. Near.]

Izzy nodded, if his mutant nickname was Red, he would defintly go by his normal name.
"Well, I hope I never see you eyes turn red, Lily."
He smiled at her and heard something behind him. He turned and saw a flock of birds heading towards. He didn't know why and never would but birds always seemed to follow him around. They were about a metre away and he froze them, he turned to Lily to say something but then saw that she was also frozen. He postioned his hands so that Lily unfroze but not the birds. He let her see the birds.
" I have no idea why birds always follow me but they always do."
Izzy grabbed one and threw it away causig it to unfreze. He did the same to the rest and then turned to Lily. He shrugged and sat down on a bench and drew a picture of him and Lily with a flock of birds chasing them, he was good at art.

George whistled while she walked down towards the lake on the grounds. Lily usually came down there to read. The prankster must be a bad influence because they always ended up doing something else. But George usually came down here to practice manipulating water on a large scale...in case she wanted to part the Red Sea.

She ended up round on the far side of the Lake. George spotted Lily and another guy sitting on a bench. A wicked, wicked grin came across her face. "Oh this is so wrong but it's so great!"

George focused her energy into gathering the water up into a wave. She raised her hands and pushed against the air with a grunt. The wall of water surged over to the bench where Lily was sitting. George fought to keep her eyes open she didn't want to miss the look on their faces when the water hit. Large amounts of water where much harder to control than the amount in water bottles.

[Time. Is. Near.]

Izzy saw the wave coming and froze it, he looked behind the wave and saw a girl. He threw his head back and burst out laughing.
"George."
He unfroze Lily and they moved out of the way of the wave behind George. He unfroze the wave and it hit the ground. He saw George's face and burst out laughing.
"Thought you could pull one on me? I'm Izzy, you must be George as you can control water. I can control time, I can speed it up to blow things up and slow it down to freeze time."
Izzy put his hand out in front of him to shake hands with George.

[Lily]

Lily looked at them both as if she had just missed something. She really didn't know what happened, one minute a wave was coming for her, surely sent by George, and the next she was out of the way. She stood up and waved to George. "Look! I made another friend! And he didn't think I looked like I had the grim Reaper on my shoulders, either!" she laughed.

"What in the world did I miss, anyways?! One minute I was there... the next I was here..." it finnally dawned on her and she looked at Izzy. "Did you move me?!" she asked, a look of bewilderment on her face.

"By the way Izzy, that's George.... she's retarded in all ways possible, but she's still one of my greatest friends..." she joked, grinning as she walked over in between the two.

Izzy laughed when Lily laughed. George hadn't shaken his hand so he brought his hand back.
"What in the world did I miss, anyways?! One minute I was there... the next I was here... Did you move me?!"
Izzy smiled.
"Yeah, I moved you, thankfully I didn't touch you. You are the real prankster arn't you George!"
Izzy laughed he was finally going to have some friends who weren't scared that he sometimes lost control of his powers. He saw his old friends at the other side of te lake, he wanted his own back and suddenly a lightbulb turned on.
"George can you do what you did on me and Lily onthem," he said pointing at his old friends.
A evil grin came across Izzys' face and he chuckled.
