A Human Visitor? [Anyone!!]

[Lana and Warner.]

"I won't..... And I'm not sure... the only way to find out would be to have someone else try and demonstarte their powers while they were around you.."

Warner noticed Lily's expression begin to change as though she were thinking things over. Maybe she was thinking about how he was a mutant now too. Maybe she wouldn't like him. Lily lived around mutant boys all the time and for once when she thought she had found a human -- he became a mutant too. His grip loosened as his fervor for winning her over began to wane. Warner was sure she wouldn't like him anymore...

He thought about getting someone else to help him discover the truth. "My sister won't use her powers so it's kind of useless to ask her," he replied, making sure to be soft so she wouldn't hear. It was always a touchy subject with her. "Who can we ask?"

[Lily]

"My sister won't use her powers so it's kind of useless to ask her," he said in a soft voice. Obviously his sister wasn't meant to hear. "Who can we ask?"

Lily looked at him thoughtfully, then smiled softly. "Well there is always George.... though I can't garuntee she won't tell Lana..... or Atticus or James. I'm sorry, I don't have very many friends to choose from really..." she said sadly, though her smile remained. Her arms seemed to relax their grip around his neck a bit, she was growing comfortable in his arms.... it was, different to Lily though.

[Lana and Warner.]

"Well there is always George.... though I can't garuntee she won't tell Lana..... or Atticus or James. I'm sorry, I don't have very many friends to choose from really..." Warner smiled with a quick reply to let her know he was still interested at least, "You can count me in! I'll be happy to be your friend.."

He glanced at his sister again then back to Lily with a devious snicker, "I have an idea. Let's go somewhere.. anywhere. We'll find someone and they can help us. You can just introduce me as a new student for now. What do you say?"

[Lily]

"You can count me in! I'll be happy to be your friend.." he smiled.

"That's very nice of you.." she said, smiling still.

He snickered deviously as he looked at Lana and then back to Lily. "I have an idea. Let's go somewhere.. anywhere. We'll find someone and they can help us. You can just introduce me as a new student for now. What do you say?"

"Okay... that's fine. Where excatly did you have in miind, persay?" she asked, her eyes still staring at him. She felt bad for staring at him so much, but for some reason she just couldn't help it..... "So Mr. Prince Charming, shall we keep your name, or go incogneto and change it?" she asked, joking more or less. She laughed softly.

[Lana and Warner.]

"Okay... that's fine. Where excatly did you have in miind, persay?" she questioned him. "Uh.. well, I just got here and I really don't know my way around. Where do most people congregate?" Warner remembered he had to warn his sister, not that she would notice for a few minutes if he was gone. "Hey Lana!" he called while she looked back for a moment, "Lily's going to show me around a bit!" Lana nodded and waved him off, still talking to Kat.

He looked back to Lily and shivered as her clear blue eyes continued to stare up at him. She was so beautiful.. "So Mr. Prince Charming, shall we keep your name, or go incogneto and change it?" Warner thought for a moment, what would be a convincing name? "I suppose you should call me.. Taylor Klein?" He took her still gloved hand and lead her out of the Common Room. Once out of Lana's range of sight, he stopped Lily and lifted her hand once more. After slipping off the glove, he wove his fingers between her own and waited for her to lead the way.

Sorry it took so long. 'tis short because I got behind the action.

Lana had parked herself at a table and invited Kat to join her.
"How are you today? How was class yesterday, Bubbles? she has asked.

Kat winced at the "Bubbles" name, but let it go.
"It was fine. Class as usual. I have some notes if you can read my writing."
She couldn't help but look again at Warner and Lily. "Who is he? He's cute." She laughed. "He doesn't waste any time, does he?"
Kat looked back to Lana to share the joke, but she kept looking back to the couple. "Are they alright?"

[Lana and Warner.]

"It was fine. Class as usual. I have some notes if you can read my writing."

Lana's face lit up wildly at the comment, "Oh my goodness! That would be so awesome! I hate missing class.. Thanks." She was so happy that Kat was being so generous. She hated studying more than anything else.. It was the epitomy of being bored. "Who is he? He's cute," Lana noticed Kat was glancing over at her sibling as he seemed to be making moves on the poor, innocent Lily. "Oh, that's my brother, Warner. He's human. Only visiting for a week.." Lana shrugged and thought about how much she would miss him when he left again.. He was off to college and it would be another two years before she joined him. That was, if she could... "He doesn't waste any time, does he?" Lana laughed along with her, she enjoyed hanging out with Kat. "Yeah, he's a stud alright.."she replied sarcastically. "Are they alright?" Lana turned to watch them leave, hand and gloved hand.. "I'm sure they're fine," she replied though worry was setting in too, "like he can really cause any trouble.." Lana thought for a moment, it was true that he wasn't a mutant, but maybe he would cause trouble.

"Wait a second! I was supposed to show him around! What a jerk!" Lana had totally forgotten until they left..

[Kat]

Kat couldn't help but grin at Lana's enthusiasm. "Oh, no problem. I wish I had a laptop to type notes in, but we just can't afford it.So, you'll have to decipher my scribbling... and you'll have to promise not to laugh at the little pictures I draw everywhere. I'm sure that'll make it even more difficult to figure out what the lesson was."

She looked back to the boy. "Your brother, huh? Oh, good." She wasn't sure why she suddenly was interested in this person she had never met before... maybe because he was new, or maybe because someone else was interested in him as well.

"Like he can cause any trouble" Lana said.
"Well, he could hurt Lily. If he's leaving in a few days, won't she just get all in love and then he'll leave. If he's going to college, he might..." Kat realized that she was about to insult Lana's brother. "...sorry, nevermind. I'm sure he's a great guy."

She looked again as the pair left, her tone not really suggesting that she meant what she had said.

[Lana and Warner.]

"Well, he could hurt Lily. If he's leaving in a few days, won't she just get all in love and then he'll leave. If he's going to college, he might....sorry, nevermind. I'm sure he's a great guy."

"Nah, don't worry about it. I know how boys are.." She had her experiences, but everything else she had simply heard. She started to feel bad for Lily, "I'll... talk to him about it later. I never really thought about it that way." Her eyes dropped to the table and took in a long sigh. She looked back up to Kat, "So, do you want to do some studying sometime?"

[Kat]

Kat nodded. Lana would take care of things with her brother.
"I'm sure it'll all be fine."

"Do I _want_ to? Not really. Should I? Yes. With you? Absolutely."
She smiled again. "Will your brother be around?"

[Lana and Warner.]

"Do I _want_ to? Not really. Should I? Yes. With you? Absolutely."

Lana giggled, "Great!" Another brilliant smile spread across her face until Kat spoke again. "Will your brother be around?" Lana rolled her eyes, "You were just worried about Lily getting to know him.. are you sure you don't like him?" Lana was curious, but she didn't want Kat to be hurt either. Granted, she knew of the dangers whereas Lily seemed not to..

[Kat]

Kat grinned in response. "Well... I just thought I should leave my options open."

"So, what class are you taking that's the hardest for you? Maybe we could start a study club, and lots of us could help out each other. You know, if I'm good at one thing and someone else isn't, but they're good at what I'm sucking at, then we can trade brains for those subjects."

[Lana and Warner.]

Lana laughed, her brother was sure making a fuss. She was almost happy he would be gone in a week. Kat continued, "So, what class are you taking that's the hardest for you? Maybe we could start a study club, and lots of us could help out each other. You know, if I'm good at one thing and someone else isn't, but they're good at what I'm sucking at, then we can trade brains for those subjects." Lana smiled, finally a place where she could exercise her help to others. She enjoyed getting help and most of all giving it. "That's sounds like an awesome idea Kat! You're so smart! So, what will we call it? The Brainiacs?" she laughed again before resuming, "Everything seems to have some sort of spiffy name around here.."

[Kat]

"Everything seems to have some sort of spiffy name around here.." Lana had said, laughing.

Kat grinned in return. "Well, yeah. I think it's the boys... everyone has to have a secret codename so they can play at being Superguy."

She made a sour face suddenly as an image came to mind. "I hope noone has to wear spandex or leather or anything."

Kat looked at Lana, slightly concerned. "You don't think the upperclassmen have uniforms or anything? Is anyone really good with their powers?"

She looked around the room for a moment. "I guess this is a good place to meet, too. Well, here or the library. That might scare off some of the book-a-phobes, though."

[Lana and Warner.]

"Well, yeah. I think it's the boys... everyone has to have a secret codename so they can play at being Superguy," Kat replied with a grin of her own. Lana nodded in agreement, "Yeah, but.. well.." She wanted to say that she wanted to be a "Supergirl" too, but her powers weren't that great anyways. She hated them. Kat began to speak again and Lana forgot about that hopeless conversation, "I hope no one has to wear spandex or leather or anything." Lana laughed as an unusual face passed over Kat's expression, who was obviously picturing that very thing right now, but soon it turned to concern, "You don't think the upperclassmen have uniforms or anything? Is anyone really good with their powers?"

"I don't know about that.. I've seen some of the graduates in action and they're in some sort of dark, thick fabric costumes. They looked really cool though! I think they're the only ones who are really that great besides Regina.." she replied, grimacing at speaking the bully's name. That stupid girl had an easy sort of power.. it was ridiculous.

"I guess this is a good place to meet, too. Well, here or the library. That might scare off some of the book-a-phoebes, though," Kat said returning to the subject. Lana nodded, "I think more people like books here than hate them, but it's so much brighter in here I definitely think this is the best place."
