Time for Study? [PRP; Ash!]

Lana sighed as her pen tapped the notebook before her. She was totally braindead.. Who the heck cared about what happened to China when the Monguls invaded anyways? Her head rested lazily on her hand as her dark brown hair cascaded to her desk. Her intense brown eyes sat idle looking at the meager notes before her and had lost their shine as a sleepiness began to set in.

"Man, I hate studying.." she said to herself looking over at her bed. Her pillow called to her with a tempting voice, "Pleeease! Come sleep on me Lana! I'm sooo comfortable.." Great, now she was hallucinating. She pulled herself up from the small desk and walked over to her mirror. Using a hairband wrapped around her wrist, Lana pulled her long hair back into a ponytail as her bands whisped across her forehead. She dug into her closet, digging out a pair of jeans and a cute, lacey tank top. Throwing them on, she slipped on some matching flip-flops and skipped out her doorway.

Moving around the dorms a bit to get her blood flowing again, Lana sighed and looked over the balcony to the stairs. She suddenly caught sight of someone she certainly hadn't been expecting: Ashcer. He was so handsome.. and heroic.. and opinionated.. The list continued in Lana's mind as she watched him walk around on the lower floor. Her eyes gained back their spark and they wouldn't let go of Ash's gorgeous form.

Ash wasn’t happy with the school at the moment.

Not at all.

They hadn’t provided him or his sister with a dorm yet, and he was getting a bit fed up with seeing everyone being able to lodge up in their rooms when he could not. It didn’t bother Aaylii too much, however. She spent most of her time in the library. For the umpteenth time, he wished he had a normal sister instead of a nerdy wallflower, but he couldn’t change her. Despite his efforts, she was just receding farther into her own world. She needed friends who were girls. Maybe then she would see that if she would just be herself, then she could have more friends who weren’t girls. Not that he wanted his sister to have tons of guy friends, that seemed to be stupid, but…

He chased himself away from this train of thought. Whatever he was thinking just seemed to be contradicting everything else. He was just in too much of a mood at the moment to be thinking sensibly. He had talked to the teachers about providing him a room. He hadn’t thought his request had made it to the Headmaster yet, but one never knew. Now he was pacing the lower floors, trying to think of what to do next. He could always scout out the dorms, find the ones who not only had no one living in them, but find those who needed a roommate. He hadn’t decided if he wanted to room with Aaylii yet. Living with someone else would be good for her.

With this in mind, he made his way up the stairs. Today he was wearing a long sleeved crème colored shirt with a striped button up shirt on over it. He had on some wide, baggy jean shorts, showing off his amazing calves. His ankle bracelet was visible above his flip flops, and he wore his usual necklaces and bracelets. Ascher liked jewelry, as long as it made him look hot to the ladies. He didn’t care what anyone thought.

He paused when he caught sight of someone on one of the upper floors. He had almost missed her when he had been thinking about other things. He mused silently that it would have been a shame. She was gorgeous. Who was she? Ash saw her around now and then, but he hadn’t met her yet. Such a shame. He thought an introduction was long overdue. He let one of his most charming smiles come out over his face and he walked the rest of the way up to where she was. He approached her, head cocked to the side and grinning.

“ Hello there. I don’t believe we’ve met yet, which is such a shame. I wouldn’t want to go long without meeting one of the prettiest girls in the school.

Oh yes. Ash was putting out all his charm. He extended a hand.

“ I’m Ashcer.”

Lana absent-mindedly watched him walk up the stairs, forgetting she had mind powers instead of invisibility. Her eyes were wide and glittering with adoration as he began to walk away, missing her completely. But then.. he stopped. Oh no! Lana's thoughts became active as her body stayed in place, He noticed me.. A smile spread across his face as he started walking towards her. Her pink, glossed lips parted slightly as a breath of silent awe passed through them. Her hands feel to her sides as the grin began to melt her heart like it was a glacier.

“Hello there. I don’t believe we’ve met yet, which is such a shame. I wouldn’t want to go long without meeting one of the prettiest girls in the school."

His voice was like a sensual caress as it passed into Lana's head and filled her whole body with a warm joy. Not only was he complimenting her, but.. he was talking to her. She had never thought in his whole life that he would ever even talk to her..

“I’m Ashcer.”

He extended a hand, but Lana was still in a daze. She slowly put out her own and set it in his. She touched him! Her heart was pounding at the speed of sound, and Lana thought it was going to leap right out of her chest. Her words were hardly audible as she finally spoke, "I'm.. L--Lana." She took in a deep breath and spoke a bit louder, "I mean -- I'm Lana. Thank you.."
