is this alright... .
I want to make her(the teacher) a shape shifter, but since I don't want to make her all powerful this is what I am thinking.
She can change into any animal , since she is still trying to master it fully(although she mastered the basics), every time she shifts, it wastes energy. The more she shifts, the more energy is wasted, the more weak she gets....

And also...I was thinking for her history, can I say she went to this school when she was younger...or not...just wanting to know so I can improvise.

Or you could just not have her shift into people AND animals. Just one or the other.
