Dodgeball anyone?

THE GYMNASIUM- 8:32 AM

Sonuvabitch. What time is it?

Alexander almost fell out of his chair as he awoke to the sounds of yelling, squealing kids. Damnit. He was late. Again. Stupid kids woke him up. Again. Not that it mattered, since he was in his office. With a grunt of effort, he pulled himself out of the chair and headed towards the door. He was hungry and tired. Still. The kitchen still wasn't fixed. Half of the time, he was forced to walk down to Java Junkie and spend his precious money on crappy over-priced food and coffee.

After nearing having half his life drained a few days before, all he could do was sleep. However, the Headmaster (that ass) told him that the children still needed to be taught. He also had the nerve to go on and lecture him about being careful around with kids and a bunch of other crap that Bianco had chosen to ignore. So he was here.

Stupid kids who can’t control their tempers or their powers.

After he had been pulled out of his death sleep, he trudged towards the center of the Gym. Ha. He had his whistle with him. After taking a deep breath, he blew into the whistle. Some of the kids jumped. A satisfied smirk played across lips as he took a look around to see who was in his class today. Malicious blue eyes picked out a few faces that he recognized. Today seemed like a good day to play dodgeball. What better way to feel better that watch these annoying brats hit each other with rubber balls?

Today was going to be a good day, he decided.

"Listen Up!” Wasn’t as loud as the disgruntled gym teacher hoped it would be. Alex lacked the energy to yell at them at the moment. Hopefully the whistle had shut them up. If not, then he would have to send a few to see the Headmaster. Hell, he should send all them just to piss that jerk off, but then none of them would get hurt... Anyway, moving on... “Today,” the smirk reappeared on his face, “We are going to play dodgeball!” Some groaned, others looked excited. "You all know the rules, so line up so we can pick teams."

[Lily]

Lily sat against the wall reading. As soon as she heard the coach come in, she hastily shoved her book into her bag. She didn't want him to take her book like he did last time. Oh great... Dodgeball time..... she thought to herself, annoyed. It didn't help that Warner, Ashcer, and James were all in this class.

"You all know the rules, so line up so we can pick teams.

SHe sighed oncemore, and got to her feet, standing at the end of the Line, as always. She didn't expect to be picked right away, no one really picked her first. She didn't participate much, and not alot of people liked her so that was understandable. She wondered, to herself, who Coach would choose as captains today. But did it really matter? She would be picked last anyways.. so why care?!

[Lana and Warner.]

Lana had woken up with good graces today. She was having a good hair day and everything! However, looking at her class schedule on the inside of her closet door, she had realized that today she had gym. Huffing and grumbling, she put her hair up in a long, perfect ponytail. Her bangs laid gently across her forehead as she put on a cute pair of white shorts and a yellow T-shirt that had a pink heart over her own heart.

Putting on a pair of white and pink tennis shoes, she skipped out of her dorm room and down the hallway to head to the kitchen. On the way, she remembered the kitchen was still "Out of Order". With a great sigh at her rumbling stomach, Lana ran quickly back up to her room and grabbed a chocolate-chip granola bar out of her desk drawer. These little bars were her only secret food. She loved them! She headed back to the gym and finished the bar in sequencial order, tossing the wrapper on the way. Of course, as soon as Lana caught sight of Ash, she made her way over and stood right next to him without another word. She knew she looked cute today, and that was all she needed..

Lana quickly noticed Professor Bianco's irritation. He wasn't in the mood today.. He explained as quickly and violently as he had exited his office. "Listen Up!” he began with a frail yell. Lana had already been paying attention since she arrived a bit later than usual, “Today .. We are going to play dodgeball!” Lana smiled, she loved dodgeball. "You all know the rules, so line up so we can pick teams."

"Oh oh!" Lana exclaimed as her hand shot in the air; directions always brought questions. "Mr. Bianco! I vote that it should be boys against girls!" Although she had spoken the teacher's name first, she addressed the class as a whole for her proposal. If her idea wasn't picked, she would simply stay near Ashcer and be sure to be on his team..

George was in gym...and in gym clothes, with a teacher that probably blamed her for all his stupid troubles in life. That was something George did not appreciate...even if half of them were her fault. Gym was stupid. Really, what kind of class was it? It teaches you to ruthlessly pick on the fat kid for not being able to run the mile.

George saw Lily sitting reading yet another book. She contemplated ruining Lily's fun. But then Coach said it...'Dodgeball' It was like he said it in slow motion. "Dodgeball?!" George cried. "What's that outlawed in like every state, except Texas?" She was not doing anything to make this guy like her any better. She just liked to annoy him because he thought he was cool...but in reality he's a gym teacher...

George trudged to the lineup, resigned to the fact that the Couch would especially want her playing because she was a stupid kid who could control her temper... even if she did save his life..."Who's on my team?" She asked loudly. "BIRDIE! If you are not on my team I will show you no mercy!"

James woke up in a good mood today. He was happier then ever before. He did his daily duties and managed to get his schedule. Gym. Who in thier right mind has gym in the morning. He sighed, but then smiled again. Oh well, can't change that now can we, he thought.

He made his way to the Gymnasium and spotted familiar faces. Lily, George and a few other people. He wondered what they were going to play, but that thought soon vanished when the coach started to yell.

"Listen Up! We are going to play dodgeball! You all know the rules, so line up so we can pick teams."

He sort of like the game, sort of hated it, but at this point he was not going to say a word. He followed the coaches instructions, finding himself next to the very loud George and heard other voices at well.

"Mr. Bianco! I vote that it should be boys against girls!"

James thought that was a bad idea. There were guys who threw too hard, bad idea, and then their are girls who are very sensitive. He didn't want to say anything in fear of getting in trouble by the overly large coach.

"BIRDIE! If you are not on my team I will so you no mercy!"

James actually chuckled at this statement. George was as hyperactive as ever. But he was, at this point, worried about Lily. She wasn't very liked, meaning that the people were really going to go after her. He shook his head, coming back to, " this whole thing is a bad idea, " thought.
