The gods of anime must have moved heaven and earth to make these events come to pass... in Kat's fumblings she did manage to find George nearby, on the floor. She squeezed the bit of George she had discovered, intending it to be reassuring... but Kat realized too late what she had a handful of. "I'm sorry!" she whispered, snatching her hand back.
"I'm fine. Let go and we can go back to sleep." George squeaked.
"I'm really sorry... I promise I won't cop a feel anymore, really. You can come up here, if you want. There's room. " Kat laughed nervously. "You probably think I'm some huge pervert."

Once Kat had let go, George was feeling more like her cheeky self. "It's alright!" She grinned as she climbed back into bed. "I'll forgive you as long as you forgive me when I "accidentally" return the favor. Otherwise you should probably save it for the honeymoon. We don't Mopey getting jealous, now do we?"

Kat laughed softly in the dark, smiling when she felt George take the space she had just vacated on that side of the bed. "Well.. let's not get expelled. But, our dear husband can't expect us to keep our hands to ourselves twenty-four seven, can he?" As usual, her mouth is writing checks that the rest of her can't cash.

"No he can't!" Kat always had something to say despite her nervous nature. But George liked that about her. She grinned and reached over to wrap her arm around Kat's waist and pull her close to her. Hopefully she wouldn't bubble out this time either.

"'s ok,'s ok, 's ok." Kat muttered to herself as George snuggled up to her, and she was surprised to discover that her power stayed switched off... at least for the time being.
"So, you're not looking for anyone?" she asked, innocently. "I guess I can understand that... it'd be hard to be with someone you had to go to school with _and_ live so near... at least hard not to pounce on them every spare moment." She giggled. "Not pounce on them like you're thinking, I bet. Just like... squee and glomp."
She was quiet for a moment. "How do co-ed schools like this keep everyone apart? Do they have people with anti-hormone powers walking around? I never thought about it, 'cause I figured I have about zero chance to be touched..."
The irony of the situation was, of course, lost on her.

George heard Kat saying something, while she held her. The more Kat's bubble didn't pop up, the braver George got when it came to touch the girl. At this point even if Kat sent them careening into a wall, George would most likely be unfazed by it. She just liked having some to hold at night. It was a good feeling.
"So, you're not looking for anyone?...I guess I can understand that... it'd be hard to be with someone you had to go to school with _and_ live so near... at least hard not to pounce on them every spare moment....Not pounce on them like you're thinking, I bet. Just like... squee and glomp."
George smiled, and placed her head on Kat's shoulder. She saw this teetering on the line of friendship and something else. "I'm not looking for anyone, because I don't want to find the wrong person and think she's the right one...if that makes sense..." George smirked. "I like my pounce better."
There was a quiet moment and in that time George actually missed the sound of Kat's voice. "How do co-ed schools like this keep everyone apart? Do they have people with anti-hormone powers walking around? I never thought about it, 'cause I figured I have about zero chance to be touched..."
George shifted in the bed, but still held on to Kat. She thought about Lily and James. She was jealous of them. Even though she didn't want to be, she was. George felt guilty about it. "Well, for certain people it wouldn't matter if it was co-ed school or an all girl school." She smiled sadly. "You shouldn't think like that. You're very pretty. Anyone would be lucky to have you." She said, with a gentle squeeze.

"I'm not looking for anyone, because I don't want to find the wrong person and think she's the right one...if that makes sense... George had said.
"What if you find the right person and you think she's the wrong one?" Kat asked, not really meaning anything by it... though it could be construed as being significant or leading. *She*, echoed a bit in Kat's head, and it finally began to dawn her that maybe George was maybe a bit bent. That didn't much bother her. Would it bother her if George wanted to be more than friends? Kat just didn't think like that, she tended to be stuck in whatever was happening at that moment.
"You shouldn't think like that. You're very pretty. Anyone would be lucky to have you. George offered.
Kat stroked George's back for a bit. "Thank you... but we're an old married couple... you don't have to complement me. You never take me places like you used to, though." she joked.

"What if you find the right person and you think she's the wrong one?"
George hadn't thought of it that way. "Hopefully she knows she's the right one and won't let me think she's the wrong one. Hopefully she'll fight for me." She murmured, she didn't think much of Kat's wording. It was really just a question.
Kat started to rub George's back. She smiled. "Thank you... but we're an old married couple... you don't have to complement me. You never take me places like you used to, though."
"I'd like our marriage to last. Compliments make up for my shortcomings" She said. "Tell me where you want to go and I'll take you. I'm not a mindreader!" George played along with the couple argument.

"Hopefully she knows she's the right one and won't let me think she's the wrong one. Hopefully she'll fight for me."
"Why wouldn't she? I'll beat her up for you if she doesn't." Kat offered. "Anyway, is there anyone you're interested in?" She asked, genuinely interested.
"Tell me where you want to go and I'll take you. I'm not a mindreader!"
"If you _really_ loved me, you'd already know." Kat mock-whined, but the pout that went with it was lost in the dark.

George laughed at the thought of Kat fighting. She appreciated the offer, but really...Kat fighting? She could see Kat sliding away as soon as a person swung at her. "Thanks for defending my honor." She said with a smirk. As much as she teases her friends, George hates when the tables are turned. So she usually just makes light of it. "No one other than my spouses."
"If you _really_ loved me, you'd already know." George chuckled at Whiny-Kat and could almost see the pout on her face.
"And if you loved me, you wouldn't nag me!" George tried to sound exasperated, but it was hard with such a big grin on her face.

"No one other than my spouses.
"Awww... old-fashioned love. How sweet."
"And if you loved me, you wouldn't nag me!"
"Oh, I can't stay mad at you, honey-dumplings." Kat giggled. "So... make-up sex?" She was joking, but it would be easy to think otherwise.
"Or maybe we should just go to sleep before someone hears us and we get into trouble."
