"Come on Lily! Don't think about it too hard. I'm sure we'll get in even more trouble today!" George said, obviously trying her best to cheer Lily up. It worked in a small sort of way, a soft smile appeared on Lily's face. It grew in time as George sniffed her armpits... she looked like a monkey of sorts.
"But first we should shower..." She suggested.
Lily nodded. For some reason taking a nice hot shower always seemed to make bad situations better... she had no clue how, it just did. "Yeah, that sounds nice.... " she commented softly, her knees lowering so that her navy blue converse were once again firmly on the ground.

-after the shower George just really needed a reason to change clothes...-
After using her power to pull the water from her hair, George pulled a long-sleeve shirt over her head. Despite it being July, having a friend who could kill her with a touch meant that she was obligated to make Lily's life easier by wear long-sleeves. She had on khaki boy shorts. Lily wouldn't be touching her legs.
She stretched. And headed to the hallway to wait for Lily. George leaned against the wall and slid down to the floor. She was still tired and her head still ached. She probably should of stayed in the Nurse's office. Shaking her head, George brushed that thought away. She had thought Lily needed her and she did. So it didn't matter if she was tired.
George looked down to her bare feet. She hated shoes... Ever since she was little she liked to be barefoot. Maybe they could go for a walk on the grounds. George liked to feel the grass between her toes. She was almost sure they would destroy anything outside. Well, Lily might kill some ants...
George sighed and rested her head against the wall she was sitting against. Lily could take her time, so she could get a few winks in...

Lily stepped precariously out of the shower, and pulled on her clothes, a black long sleeved shirt with a hood, and khaki cargo pants. She towel dried her hair, and then brushed through it with ease, naturally it fell into position over her eyes. She slipped on a pair of small socks, and then put on one of her many pairs of converse. These just happened to be black low-tops with red laces.
She applied the little bit of eyeliner she normally wore, but that was it for make up, she really didn't wear much make up at all. Last, but not least, of her morning routine she opened a drawer filled with numerous pairs of gloves in virtually every color. She picked up a pair of small black and red gloves and slipped them on, concealing her deadly pale skin.
She opened her door and found George asleep in the hallway, obviously she had been there for quite some time. Lily felt bad that she was still tired. She crouched low and carefully poked her, making sure of no skin contact. "George.. if you'd like you can rest. I'm perfectly fine with going to the library by myself.. we don't have to hang out if you are too tired for it.." she said, a small sympathetic smile on her lips.

George jumped at the feeling of a finger poking her. She was a light sleeper, so the slightest touch or sound woke her. Hence her usually grumpiness at being woken. "George.. if you'd like you can rest. I'm perfectly fine with going to the library by myself.. we don't have to hang out if you are too tired for it.."
"I'm not tired." She said with a yawn. She opened her eyes to see Lily giving her a small smile. "And we're not going to the library." George immediately felt bad for commandeering this girl's life. They had only met yesterday. But if it was left up to Lily, she'd spend the rest of her life in the library.
"Don't get me wrong," George sighed as she stood. "The library and reading are fine and all, but you can't hide behind bookshelves and huge books forever, girl." She grinned and raked her hand through her hair in an attempt to get it out of her face. It just fell back into her eyes.
"Besides we might be able to see those girls again." George smiled rather wickedly. "We'll see if we need to do a follow up lesson."

"I'm not tired." George said with a yawn.
Lily laughed softly. "Yes because yawning is always a sign of being energetic...." she joked. If George wasn't tired, she surely didn't look it.
"And we're not going to the library."
"Well I figured as much..... You hate the library...."
"Don't get me wrong, The library and reading are fine and all, but you can't hide behind bookshelves and huge books forever, girl." George said, grinning as she brushed a hand through her hair.
"Really?! Aw man... that was my life goal.... hide from the world and hope with all my heart that no one would try and break my habit..... Darn it George, you foiled my life goal..." Lily said with a small laugh. She knew she couldn't read forever.... she would run out of books. Plus she had other goals and aspirations, believe it or not.
"Besides we might be able to see those girls again. We'll see if we need to do a follow up lesson." George said, smiling wickedly.
"I doubt it! I'll bet they are down at the lake, trying to warm up their freezer burned butts.... Plus I'm pretty sure Coach will be ticked if we screw up another room..."

"Really?! Aw man... that was my life goal.... hide from the world and hope with all my heart that no one would try and break my habit..... Darn it George, you foiled my life goal..."
"Yes I have a habit of foiling plans...hehe." George started to walk down the corridor, positive Lily would follow. "I'm sure there are other things that you could be doing...like tanning." George said with a arched eyebrow.
"I doubt it! I'll bet they are down at the lake, trying to warm up their freezer burned butts.... Plus I'm pretty sure Coach will be ticked if we screw up another room..."
George immediately grew depressed. "ARGH! We've messed up the kitchen! What're we going to do for foooooooooood!!!" She wailed. "I can't just eat cereal all my life! I need real food!" She continued on in a very comical display, ranting about how she would waste away and never date a girl and Lily would shrink back to the library and the world would end. She fell on the floor in a fake fit of tears.

"Weren't you listening at all?! The freaking sun doesn't effect me....... I'm stuck pale as paper..." she said, with a you-should've-known sort of expression on her face.
"ARGH! We've messed up the kitchen! What're we going to do for foooooooooood!! I can't just eat cereal all my life! I need real food!" George said, and then began to throw a five-year-old-fit on the floor.
Lily laughed softly and put on a concerned motherly type expressio. She made sure her glove was on tight, and none of her skin was exposed and then she grabbed George's ear yanking her to her feet. A scolding look came over her face. "Now you straighten up right now little missy! Or I'll put you in time out in the library again.... The kitchen will be fixed, and until then we can go to the coffee shop, but ONLY if you behave like a good little girl.. got it?!" she said in a motherly tone. She released George's ear, and placed her hands firmly on her hips.

George whimpered a very real whimper as Lily yanked on her ear. "Alright!" she said, laughing at Lily's motherly charms. "I'll be good, promise!"She nodded holding on to her ear. "Anything but the dreaded Library..."
Java Junkie sounded good. Her stomach let out a small rumble. "My stomach rules my life, Lily... I'm just a walking digestive system..." she whined. "Anything you wanna do before we go?"
((will be back i'm actually really hungry...))

Lily laughed as George whined about her grabbing her ear, and the "dreaded Library". Her motherly attitude vanishing as she went back to the normal Lily.
"My stomach rules my life, Lily... I'm just a walking digestive system... Anything you wanna do before we go?" George asked.
"Nah, I'm actually really hungry myself..... and I can't think of anything to do............... that you would be interested in.." she said, adding that last sentence at the last moment, for reading was always on Lily's mind. She giggled slightly and began to walk again, a small smile on her lips.

"Nah, I'm actually really hungry myself..... and I can't think of anything to do............... that you would be interested in.." George followed after Lily, still holding her ear. How cruel, it still hurt!
"You're darned right!" George huffed. "Reading and whatnot! For someone who wants a boyfriend, you spend an awful lot of time reading! Don't you know boys don't like smart girls? If you're going to read you can only read Cosmo or something like that."
George looked at the hand that was holding her ear. "You're lucky I'm not bleeding," she grumbled, with a playful smile. "It would have been a fight! So the Java Junkie right?" George asked as her stomach rumbled. She made a face. She could say that it was because she used so much energy yesterday...but that would be a lie. She was just hungry all the time, she was a growing girl after all.

[[haha, she actually let go of her ear already...]]
"You're darned right! Reading and whatnot! For someone who wants a boyfriend, you spend an awful lot of time reading! Don't you know boys don't like smart girls? If you're going to read you can only read Cosmo or something like that."
Lily laughed. "George, you missunderstood me. Yes I said it would be nice to have a boyfriend..... but I'd rather have a boyfriend who didn't mind my reading habits, than one who wanted me to change to please him.... Besides I'm not really searching for one. When I see the right guy, It'll probably just click..."
"You're lucky I'm not bleeding, It would have been a fight! So the Java Junkie right?"
Lily smiled. "Yes and of course the mutant who could control water would DEFINATELY win over the one who could suck your life away with a touch of her skin......" she joked, laughing softly again. "Java Junkie sounds great.... I haven't been there in a while..." she said as she continued walking.

((she was holding her own ear...))
George shrugged. "You've been reading too many books...Most people don't click like that and live happily ever after Lils..." Attacked by frequent yawning syndrome - dreadful disease really... George yawned again. "I don't get that whole love at first sight stuff... How can you fall in love with someone the moment you see them? You know nothing about them...they could be some axe murdering rapist..."
"Yes and of course the mutant who could control water would DEFINATELY win over the one who could suck your life away with a touch of her skin......"
"You seem to be forgetting my dear friend...walls of water." George pointed to herself, with her thumbs. "I'm sure I could just suck the moisture out of you eyeballs and while your flailing around just move out the way." George grinned.
"Java Junkie sounds great.... I haven't been there in a while..."
Snorting, George's face hardened. "What did the kids here chase you away from there too? I swear, what would you do without me?" Pausing, she rolled her eyes. "Never mind I already know!"

[[oh.. haha *ish an idiot*]]
"You've been reading too many books...Most people don't click like that and live happily ever after Lils..... I don't get that whole love at first sight stuff... How can you fall in love with someone the moment you see them? You know nothing about them...they could be some axe murdering rapist..."
"Well of course you'd have to get to know the person first!" she said as they continued walking. "I guess what I mean is.... that I can wait to have a boyfriend... I'm not one of those girls who HAS to have one as soon as possible..."
"You seem to be forgetting my dear friend...walls of water... I'm sure I could just suck the moisture out of you eyeballs and while your flailing around just move out the way."
Lily laughed. "Yes, but do you really think you could do that quickly than I could grab your throat? You saw what I did to Coach, once I touch you, you can barely move...." she said, raising her eyebrows and jokingly grinning.
"What did the kids here chase you away from there too? I swear, what would you do without me?" she rolled her eyes as she obviously came to the obvious answer. Never mind I already know!"
Lily continued to laughed. "No, not really. It just gets rather lonely walking all the way to Java Junkie by oneself. Though I'm sure the other students would hate me for going there.... so I guess that played a small part..." she shrugged. She didn't even know if she liked coffee or not.

((you are forgiven))
George neglected to tell Lily that coffee made her insane. When she drank coffee she got in more trouble than she normally did. "Yes, but do you really think you could do that quickly than I could grab your throat? You saw what I did to Coach, once I touch you, you can barely move...." She heard Lily say.
"That sounds like a challenge..." She grinned devilishly. "If you really want to try that out be my guest." Despite the fact that she was exhausted and completely depleted she wasn't going to let Lily get the best of her.
They walked on. "No, not really. It just gets rather lonely walking all the way to Java Junkie by oneself. Though I'm sure the other students would hate me for going there.... so I guess that played a small part..." Lily said with a shrug.
"They would hate you for going to get coffee? Ridiculous..." She muttered. "Yesterday was end of lonely walks...right?" She asked with a grin.

"That sounds like a challenge. If you really want to try that out be my guest." George challenged with a grin.
Lily shook her head, laughing. "george, you know very well that you haven't the strength, and I haven't the courage, or the nerve to do that. Besides, I could never purposefully hurt someone with my "curse" she said, smiling softly.
"They would hate you for going to get coffee? Ridiculous.. " she muttered. "Yesterday was end of lonely walks...right?"
Lily nodded. "Unless of course we decide to try out this theory of ours.... but that's not very likely, is it?" she grinned, and they walked onward, out of the school and into the town. Java Junkie was just down the street from where they stood.
