He chuckled at that comment. " Yes, but I am going to have to work on that," he said. " We don't want you to doubt everything, now do we?" He added with another chuckle. He noticed Lily turn to look at something, and when he looked where she was looking, he saw George wink. He shook his head.
He saw Lily reach out for her glove. He was well rested, his power had only about 6 minutes of energy left. He did feel a bit tired anyway, but he knew it was the powers. He activated it once more and reached for it, he was going to give it to her.

She laughed softly. "No, I guess not.... BUt I'll have to warn you. You won't be the only one... George has her heart set on pulling me out of my shell and making me become more positive.." she warned, grinning.
As she was just about to reach her glove, James picked it up and held it out to her. She looked at him cautiously, but couldn't tell if he had activated his powers. She touched the leather carefully, making sure her hand didn't touch his at all.

He chuckled a bit more. " Maybe I should stay away then," he said jokingly. " Speaking of George, is she always so....hyperactive like that? He asked. He was dead serious this time. Never in his life had he met someone so...so...crazy. He didn't want to think or say that because even thinking it would have been rude but....she was so jumpy.
He noticed she tried to take the glove cautiously. "Don't worry, you can't really see it, but my power is activated." He said smiling. " No one can really see it,heck , I can't see it, but I do feel the barrier." He added.

She nodded. "Yeah... which is funny because I'm pretty much the exact opposite. But she was the first person who ever actually wanted to be my friend, and get to know me behind all the rumors and lies. And that was only this year... I've been here for six years, and she was the first to actually say hi." she explianed, smiling.
"Don't worry, you can't really see it, but my power is activated. No one can really see it,heck , I can't see it, but I do feel the barrier." He explained. She laughed softly, and instead of taking the glove she took his hand. "Stop overworking yourself..... You are going to become dead tired... And I'm not sure if I can carry you back to your dorm.." she joked, laughing softly.
She smiled and released his hand. She took the glove and put it on her hand, though the warmth of his hand stayed with hers.

"...", he wasn't really sure what to say. So for six years she had been alone. For six years no one talked to her because of her powers. He was sort of disgusted at the attitudes of people. Only jerks would just completly ignore someone because of their ability. Sure, the ability was deadly, but Lily took precautions and yet they were still idiots.
"Stop overworking yourself..... You are going to become dead tired... And I'm not sure if I can carry you back to your dorm.."
"No problem, I've been through worse," he said but added with a mumble," like being stabbed." He then laughed, " you wouldn't have to carry me back." He said and deactivated his powers.

"No problem, I've been through worse, like being stabbed." She had to strain to hear the last part. "Who in the world would stab you?! That's awful!" she exclaimed, a hint of worry in her eyes.
" you wouldn't have to carry me back." he laughed, and once again she found it charming. Her smile returned. "Yeah I would! Or I'd get someone too.... Cause I'd feel horrible if you passed out on my accord... and I wouldn't want you to sleep in the Library!" she said, matter-of-factly. She wouldn't have left him there... and if she couldn't have found anyone, she probably would've stayed with him.

He sighed. He didn't really want to say it, but, for some reason he just couldn't help himself. "I was walking home one day. I usually take that same route, and nothing really happens there. Out of nowhere, this guy came up to me and yelled to give him money, at that time I didn't have any, told him, and I guess he didn't believe me." He said with a sigh. "I was lucky though, that day, I guess fear or...something, had activated my power, and well, the barrier broke, but I was pretty much safe." He said the smiled.
"Yeah I would! Or I'd get someone too.... Cause I'd feel horrible if you passed out on my accord... and I wouldn't want you to sleep in the Library!"
"It wouldn't be the first time," he said with a laugh. " I fell asleep in a library a few times, the librarians were usually kind enough to wake me up though. I guess it' s because I get so caught up in a book, but then get sleepy or something." He said with a passive shrug.

She looked horrified throughout his story.... and thought it was odd that that was how his powers were activated. "That's awful! Being mugged like that....... well almost.... If you weren't so weak, and if I couldn't kill you just by touching you, I would probably hug you.." she said truthfully. She was sad that he had to endure that.

He smiled at her comment, but then sighed. " Hopefully, I'll learn how to hold it longer than a measly ten to fifteen minutes. I would like to stay longer then that, if longer, I could help you more." He said with a handsome smile.
"You may say that I worry far too much... but you don't worry nearly enough.."
He chuckled, " That may be true, but since I don't need to worry as much, I get to do more, experience more." He said. "And I rather experience more, it's better, and to me much more fun."

He smiled more at this comment. At least she was thinking positivly. The more and more he talked to her...the more he seemed to like her. He kept quiet about it though, he didn't really want to ruin their friendship because of his one sided affection.

Lily smiled softly. "Then I'll BE more possitive... as you say." she giggled softly. "WEll then I suposse I've already seemed to make an effort.... after all, I have gained a new friend in you, have I not?" she asked, her smile grew.
She shifted uncomfortably in her chair. The chair had once been so comfortable to her, but now..... After sitting in it for about three hours it had lost it's comfort.

"Yes, you have officially made a new friend." He said with a chuckle. He soon noticed that she seemed a bit uncomfortable. She had been sitting there for awhile, maybe he could ask her if she wanted to go back to her dorm, or maybe walk somewhere. He fought with himself, but then decided to.
" You seem uncomfortable, you want to leave and go back to your dorm? Or, do you want to take a walk somewhere? I hear that the garden is a nice place to be..."

She laughed again. "I would say dorm, but I haven't been assigned a dorm yet....... So I suposse the garden sounds nice.." she said smiling. She got up out of her chair and stooped down, picking up her books and putting them back inside her messenger bag and standing up. She placed the bag strap on her shoulder and then pushed in her chair.
"Off to the garden then?" she asked, smiling.

"I would say dorm, but I haven't been assigned a dorm yet....... So I suposse the garden sounds nice.."
He shrugged, "Neither have I, but I just thought you did. I hope they give it to us soon though..." He watched her as she put away her stuff. He grabbed his violin case, which also had his books, and waited for her to finish up.
"Off to the garden then?"
"Off to the garden."
