Lily smiled and walked out of the library, hoping that he was still there behind her. They made it to the garden rather quickly, because it wasn't very far away at all. They walked outside and into the garden. It was so beautiful. Lily looked up at the latice as they walked under it. "This place is so.... beautiful." she said looking around. The flowers were amazing, and in so many different, beautiful colors.
"You know.. it's funny. I've lived here at this castle for so many years now and this is the first time I've ever been in here." she said, still looking around at the beautiful flowers...

He stopped to take a look around. She was definintly right, it was beautiful. He walked deeper into the garden, looking at all the different plants. In thier was his favorite plant, the lemon balm. It was used for many different things, but he just loved the smell of it. It had a faint smell of Lemon, something that he loved. He picked a bit of it and walked back to Lily.
"Look at this, it's called Lemon Balm, it has been used for medicinal purposes, but usually what attracts me is the smell, it has a faint smell of lemon, hence the name." He said handing the plant over to her.
"You know.. it's funny. I've lived here at this castle for so many years now and this is the first time I've ever been in here."
He chuckled at the comment. " Well, I am pretty new here, and haven't really been around much, but at least you see it now right?"

She bent down her head and smelt that flower. It was amazing.... It smelt great, and just like he said it smelt faintly like lemons. "That's awesome.... It's so beautiful... and still it can be used for medicine purposes..." she said, in awe. She held it back out for him to take.
" Well, I am pretty new here, and haven't really been around much, but at least you see it now right?"
She nodded and walked deeper into the garden. She walked through the garden, and looked at all of the beautiful flowers. She bent down next to a small white lily and sniffed it. It smelled lovely. It amazed her how there were no bugs on the petals at all. And the flowers flourished so well.

He chuckled a bit. " That's exactly what I though when I first saw it. My mom used to grow a whole bunch of these, so our house used to smell like them all the time."
She nodded at his last statement and went deeper into the garden. He saw her smelling some flowers and walked up next to her. "So, you think this maybe your new favorite spot?" he said with a small laugh.

She laughed softly. "Uhm..... Maybe. It's pretty up there compared to the library.." she said, a large smile on her face. She stood up next to him and laughed softly, turning around, and walking deeper into the garden.
She turned a corner, and for somer eason a fit of playfullness seemed to come over her. She quickly ran along, winding her way through the twists and turns of the garden. She grinned and found a small bush that she hid behind.

"It sure is." He was glad to see her smiling more and more. She stood up and laughed softly, he really liked to hear her laugh. She soon went deeper and deeper. He wondered where she was going, and decided to follow her. He put his hands in his pockets, adjusted the violin case, and continued walking.
He couldn't hear or see her anywhere and this sort of scared him. It was either something happened to her, or she was off trying to trick him. He didn't think that she was a person to go and be mischevious, it just didn't seem like her, so now, he was worried.
"Lily!" He called out worriedly, he did not want for anything to happen to her, he continued to search and call her name.

"Lily!" she heard him call. He sounded... worried. It was as if he thought someone had taken her away or something. He must not have thought her possible to joke. She giggled softly and as he heard him walk around the corner she grinned. She hugged her knees tightly to her chest, and sat against the large pot, knowing that if he rounded the corner and looked just right, she would be in plain view.
But that didn't matter to her. She would rather him find her, and stop being worried, than to make him suffer more. She was really growing use to James, and she had to admit that she liked him alot.....

He was more worried then he was before. He couldn't hear breathing, rustling, nothing. It's like she had dissapeared, but something told him she didn't. She had to be somewhere. He continued to search and call her name. Frustrated at himself.
"Damn. Why did I just let her walk alone, she could be stuck somewhere. I am such an Idiot!" He berated hisself. This was really starting to bug him, if anything was to happen to her, he'll go crazy.

She heard a muffle of words, and then realized how worried she had really made him. She supossed that she really wasn't the joking type..,. because whenever she joked around everyone got worried or scared. She sighed softly and saw his shadow approach.
She grinned to herself and then lied down on the concrete in the middle of the path. She was probably going to give him a heart attack... it was a very rude thing to do, prettend to be dead. Besides, it was rather hard... not breathing. But the whole, pale, dead look, and cold body she had down. She had formulated a small plan in her head, hoping it would work. She hoped that he felt the same way about her... or else what she was about to do would be very very awkward. She stopped smiling, and got into her grim reaperish mood, making her appear to be dead. Her hands lay limply on the ground next to her, and her eyes were closed softly.
She could hear him now, his footsteps gradually coming closer. She wasn't sure if it would work....... hopefully he would put up his shield to touch her and feel for her pulse or something of the sort.... She felt bad for doing this though... she didn't want to make him sad or worried.. but she was in an odd, playful mood, and it seemed to take over her actions.

He continued to walk, but then soon stopped dead in his tracks. No. No. No, no no. It couldn't be. It just couldn't be. His body became frozen. He was scared. He couldn't say or do anything at this point, but then, something in him made him move. He quickly activated his powers.
Lily was on the floor, pale and not breathing. This scare him to death. He grabbed her. "...this...no...no, this has to be a dream, no, she...she can't be..." she had always been cold, but he tried to check her pulse. He did, and then sighed. "You....tell me...why did you do that? You had me worried," he said to Lily. He knew she was alive now. He was too relieved, he still wouldn't have yelled, but would have said something that might have been wrong.
He was glad he didn't though.

She felt Him grab her in his arms, but still didn't open her eyes. "...this...no...no, this has to be a dream, no, she...she can't be..." he breathed. He checked her tempature, and then, obviously remembering how she was always cold, checked her pulse. She could feel his muscles relax after he found it.
"You....tell me...why did you do that? You had me worried," he said, he looked relieved. She had scared him so bad it seemed. She opened her eyes, the bright blues staring at him.
She smiled softly. "I told you never worry.... That's my job.." she said and then kissed him lightly on the lips. She was glad her little stunt hadn't scared him too bad, though she was wondering what he would do next. She hoped that he wouldn't push her away or hate her for kissing him. She couldn't help it.... she really liked him.... alot. She searched his face for some sort of emotion, some sort of inclination as to how he felt after she had kissed him.

"Bu-", he was cut off when she kissed him lightly on the lips. Did she like him? Did she like him...like that? If she did, he was happy, very happy. He didn't know what to do at this point. He smiled, the hugged her tightly. "Okay, I won't worry, just...don't do that again." He said. He kept the hug, he right now did not want to let go for any circumstances.
He had liked her from the beginning, they had the same interests, and he liked how simply nice she was.
He did let go though, but kissed her back lightly on the lips.

[[*bang* and then five minutes later, *brings you back to respond again*]]
"Okay, I won't worry, just...don't do that again." he smiled, and then embraced her in a hug. She smiled softly, relieved that he wasn't angry or anything of the sort. She felt safe.. and warm in his arms. "Promise.." she said softly.
He let go after a while, after he returned the kiss. She felt her cheeks grow hot in embarassment, and she smiled sweetly. "I think------ I might like you..." she said softly, not sure if he heard or not. They had gotten along so well, and always seemed to have something to talk about. Their love of books was also what helped them out.
She thought about the other guys. They were nice and all... Atticus was polite, Ash was... well extremely gorgeous, but she'd never admit that outloud. And Warner was kind.... and not too bad looking himself. But her and James just seemed to click..... Their love of books, and of other topics gave them something to talk about... and they were both the sort of quiet type...
She was pretty sure she'd made up her mind by now....

He smiled warmly. "Yes, you don' t have to worry, I promise." He said. He didn't know what it was, he was just somehow attracted to her. It wasn't her looks, it wasn't anything like that. He just loved her smile, just...simply her.
"I think------ I might like you..."
"I am positive.... I like you too," he said grinning, yet slightly blushing. He felt great, yet wierd, he had just met her, and yet, he already told her he liked her. He didn't really care, as long as they had the same feelings, he saw it is perfectly fine.

"Yes, you don' t have to worry, I promise." He smiled warmly, and it seemed to melt Lily's heart in a sort of odd way. It only made her smile more. If she could be sure he still had his sheild up she probably would've hugged him.
"I am positive.... I like you too," He blushed. It was sort of cute.... and the grin just made it all the more better. She could swear her cheeks had turned as red as the roses they were sitting next to. It was odd..... She had never felt this way about anyone... ever before. No one had ever paid attention to her... and cared for her like James did. It didn't matter to her that they merely just met...... She liked him.. alot and she wasn't going to simply ignore that feeling.
She looked down at the cobblestones they sat upon, her reddened face was embarassing to her.
