"...I guess we are slightly the same right?" He remarked. Lily nodded. "Although.. My family wasn't all that bad..... My Dad was awesome.... But my Mom.... She .... Well she wasn't all that nice." she said, shrugging slightly. "At least I am away from them though..." She heard him mumble. She nodded, that's how she felt.
"I have a question about George...what fuels her? She is like a motor boat with a full tank of gas." He said, laughing. She laughed also.. She wondered that herself.. "I'm not really sure... Maybe it's coffee..." she laughed again, thinking about the first time her and George went to Java Junkie... She went insane. "And I guess your right, about the books." She simply nodded, it was true.

George was roaming the halls. She was bored and hadn't seen Birdie in a while. She was on her way to the library because she just knew Lily would be there. She was always there. But passing the Common Room she heard her name.
"...George...what fuels her? She is like a motor boat with a full tank of gas." Was that Jimmy Crack Corn? Then she heard laughter and Lily's voice. "I'm not really sure... Maybe it's coffee..."
They must be super bored if they are talking about her. But what can she say she is quite a character. George grinned to herself and stretched a little. It had been a long day. Hiding from Coach Alex and other school staff, is like a full time job in this place.
George entered the room, quietly. But then took a short running start, and hopped over the back of the couch landing in a plop. "Hello, I heard you talking about me, and thought I would quell you burning curiosities." She grinned widely at them both.

[[Oh god...George...xD]]
"Although.. My family wasn't all that bad..... My Dad was awesome.... But my Mom.... She .... Well she wasn't all that nice."
He chuckled a bit," It's backwards here to me." He said. He then shrugged, "not everyone can have the easy life right?" He said, wondering if that was the right choice of words. At this point, he didn't want to make Lily any more saddened, then she had before they started talking.
"I'm not really sure... Maybe it's coffee..."
This comment made him freeze for a bit. "Somehow I don't think I want to see her on coffee," he said truthfully, as is she seemed hyper, add caffiene to that, and, well, you get the point. All of a sudden, he felt the couch jump for a bit, and there she was, George.
"Hello, I heard you talking about me, and thought I would quell you burning curiosities."
He stayed quiet. The only thing that was going through his mind were two words, oh crap.

," It's backwards here to me." he said, a small shrug following. "not everyone can have the easy life right?" Lily nodded. Not everyone was so lucky to have a loving family..... Lily unfortunately must have never been lucky... To be cursed with her powers, to be born to a Mom that hates you, a dad that doesn't... and then Kill your dad..... Horrible. But for once in her life, Lily felt sort of Lucky... She had met James...
"Somehow I don't think I want to see her on coffee," He seemed to stop.. almost as if he were imagining it, and fearing it. Lily giggled "It's awful... I've only seen it once, but I vowed that after I saw it.. I was never going back to Java Junkie with her again.. I swear it was horrible.. She kept talking about how she was DEFINATELY going to hook me up with a guy....." she immeadiately stopped, and blushed furiously. She wouldn't elaborate anymore... it was too embarassing.
But she felt the couch move, and the nightmare became a reality as George plopped down on the couch, occoupying the third cushion on the end... Lily on the middle, and James on the other end. It was probably a good thing that James wasn't in the middle.... He looked as if he had just had a stroke.. "That's very nice of you George, but I've already blamed it on coffee..." she said, hoping she'd go away soon...

George smirked, Jimmy Crack Corn looked very stricken, and Lily kinda perturbed.
"That's very nice of you George, but I've already blamed it on coffee..."
Wrinkling her nose, George made an odd face. "If I didn't know better that sounded like an invitation to leave..." She grinned. She would leave when she got ready. But the Common Room was probably the safest place for her right now. Anywhere else she might run into a teacher that might ask her about her sentencing and why she wasn't doing her time.
Stretching out and lacing her fingers behind her head, George yawned a little. Staring off into space, George spoke and daydreamed at the same time. "So what have you two lovey-dovies been up to?" Her nose twitched. "I don't expect much, a peck on the cheek maybe. But you two innocents were probably talking about the themes of The Great Gatsby."

"It's awful... I've only seen it once, but I vowed that after I saw it.. I was never going back to Java Junkie with her again.. I swear it was horrible.. She kept talking about how she was DEFINATELY going to hook me up with a guy....."
He noticed her blush, then kept thinking. How far did George want to go to help her get a guy. It made him start wondering more and more about George's sanity, and thoughts.
"That's very nice of you George, but I've already blamed it on coffee..."
"If I didn't know better that sounded like an invitation to leave..."
It's not that he didn't want it, he actually did want her to go, but that would be rude. He couldn't even fathom saying something rude like, maybe you should. He was slightly afraid of her, of her, loudness. It's not that she was intimidating, it's the fact that she seems to be so darn hyper twenty-four seven, is what scares him.
"So what have you two lovey-dovies been up to?" This comment made him blush a bit. Where did she come from with all of this."I don't expect much, a peck on the cheek maybe. But you two innocents were probably talking about the themes of The Great Gatsby."
This made him blush more, but he cleared his throat and finally spoke up. "Actually...we were just, well, talking about Lily, about how she might learn and instrument." He said truthfully, somehow, he didn't think he could lie to George for long, so might as well not lie in the first place, although he skipped the talking about family thing.

"If I didn't know better that sounded like an invitation to leave..."
Lily wanted to scream YES! but that was rude... and the Miss Manners living inside of her would eat her alive if she did.... It isn't that she didn't enjoy George's company.. It was just that she seemed to have a knack for embarassing Lily... And creating uncomfortable situations.. Like the one she started.
"So what have you two lovey-dovies been up to? I don't expect much, a peck on the cheek maybe. But you two innocents were probably talking about the themes of The Great Gatsby." Lily's cheeks grew hot.. She felt as if she were about to burst from embarassment. Dag on George! Lily's head dropped slightly, her hair falling in front of her face to hide the fact that her cheeks were turning the color of a ripe tomato.
Thankfully, James spoke up. "Actually...we were just, well, talking about Lily, about how she might learn and instrument." Lily knew that George wouldn't be pleased with this explanation. She would want more..... would want to know if they had kissed any.. or done any "couple" sort of things. But the matter of fact was.... That however much James and Lily had in common.. They weren't dating... Well at least, James had never asked anything of the sort... "Yeah.... I might take up the violin.." she said softly, her voice still small, strewn with embarassment. Curse George for doing this to her!!!!!!

From the corner of her eye, she noticed a blushing Lily and James. George smiled, extremely pleased with herself. She had figured they probably hadn't made it really official yet.
"Actually...we were just, well, talking about Lily, about how she might learn and instrument." George rolled her eyes. She didn't really believe that they were just talking about instruments up here...alone. "Yeah.... I might take up the violin.."
George groaned loudly. "Leave it to you two, first books and now the violin." George most definitely did not tell these two that she was forced to practice the violin since she was six, "to learn discipline". It did explain why she detested the instrument so much. "There has to be something more interesting than that."
George touched her chin, and brooded on it for all of 25 seconds, before she stood and moved to a window. She looked down to the garden and scowled. Then she moved away from the window and meandered around the Common Room. By then she had forgot what they were talking about. "Have you made it official?" She asked suddenly.

"Leave it to you two, first books and now the violin."
He looked at her queerly, it sounded like she hated the violin. She rolled her eyes as she spoke, basically it would be hard to say that she doesn't like it. "There has to be something more interesting than that."
All James did was shrug, " Not really," he said.He saw George look out the window, why, he didn't konw. He then noticed that George started moving around the room. He wondered what was wrong, but didn't want to say anything.
She stayed quiet for a while, but spoke up which made James jump a bit, it was so weird how she had scared him."Have you made it official?"
He knew exactly what she meant. But, he tried to play dumb to avoid the question, but most likely it would fail. "What do you mean by that?" He said, a grin still plastered on his face.

"Leave it to you two, first books and now the violin. has to be something more interesting than that." George said. She sounded annoyed. And when George was annoyed it was best to run... because things would most likely become uncomfortable.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw James give a slight shrug. " Not really," was all he said. Lily was still too embarassed to say anything. She kept her head downward, almost paranoid that her face was permanently the color of a strawberry.
She slightly noticed George's feet walking towards the window. She could somehow tell that she was agitated... It was odd. But when George walked back, and opened her big mouth, Lily could have wished to be invisible.... To be anywhere else in the world but there. Why couldn't she be a teleporter... Or someone who could turn invisible. "Have you made it official?" She sighed softly. Those five words turned her face beyond red...... Maybe the color of the sun..... George had gone way to far there.....
But James was smart.... And for that Lily liked him, all the more. He played dumb. Though George would probably see through his facade."What do you mean by that?" Lily couldn't help but grin. She found it absolutely charming the way he said that with such simplicity..... Lily followed suit. "Yeah.... What are you talking about George?" she said softly, her head still down, as she was now almost sure that her face would blend in with the red couch.

"What do you mean by that?"
George grinned at Jimmy. She liked him even more now. Lily should be glad that he answered first she would have given it away if she had said anything. But really the look on Birdie's face had already given that way. They could play dumb if they wanted to it was fine. She really didn't want to have to embarrass Lily. That could be the last resort.
"Alright then," George sighed and begin to walk around the room again. "We'll pretend that I didn't see you two kiss in the Library. And we won't pretend the two of you have that twitterpated look on your faces."
She crossed her arms and continued to walk, appearing to be in deep thought. After a while, George came up behind James. She placed her hands on his shoulders. With a smirk and her eye on Lily she leaned in. "If you really like her, ask her out. She won't turn you down. And you both need each other." She whispered in his ear.
George moved away from the couch and back over to the window. This time she didn't look at the garden, but up to the sky and smiled.

"Yeah.... What are you talking about George?"
He kept his grin, but noticed that Lily was red in the face. Was she sick? Or was she just embarrased by George's constant harrassment. He didn't know, but most likley he couldln't do anything to help it. When it comes to George, he would like to be away from her.
"Alright then, We'll pretend that I didn't see you two kiss in the Library. And we won't pretend the two of you have that twitterpated look on your faces."
"W-w-wait that was pure accdient." He stuttered out, he then mumbled so she couldn't hear him, "although, the other one wasn't..." He then spoke up again." We are not twitterpatted". He added simply. And then, all of a sudden, George came up from behind him and whispered something in his ear.
"If you really like her, ask her out. She won't turn you down. And you both need each other."
This had made him blush, and he was suprised. Why George said that, he had no clue, but, she may be right. He sighed, he'll ask Liliy out later, not here with George there, and in a more....private place. But even thinking on what she said made him blush, which started to scare him.

"Alright then, We'll pretend that I didn't see you two kiss in the Library. And we won't pretend the two of you have that twitterpated look on your faces." George said, as she continued to walk around.
Lily sighed.. Would the embarassment never end? But once again, James spoke up. Though he looked just as terrified as Lily felt. "W-w-wait that was pure accdient." he stuttered out. But then she heard a soft mumbled that she had to strain to understand. "although, the other one wasn't..." Lily smiled inwardly. She had almost forgotten about the garden... When she had become so hyper.... It was odd, maybe George was rubbing off on her! OH NO! But then, James continued, this time in full voice. " We are not twitterpatted". he made it sound so simple...
Lily didn't know what to say... Everything that there was to say, James had said. So she just nodded to his comment. But everything was quiet. George wasn't walking around, James wasn't tapping his foot. She looked out of the corner of her eye and saw George leaning in close to James, whispering something in his ear, no doubt. What had she said? Was it something about Lily, something embarassing? Was she trying to get him to not like her?
Lily was horrified. But she sat there, head down, with a bewildered look on her face, hoping that her hair would hide that fact. She didn't know what to say... what to do, how to act.... So she just sat there, virtually motionless.

Things were getting more awkward by the minute, and this was not a good thing. What George said to James was right, but still, he was a bit iffy. It's not like he didn't like Lily, he did, but, he wasn't sure if she was up for it. Yes, she said she liked him, but maybe she wasn't ready yet.
That would have to be a chance he was going to have to take. Now, he wasn't going to say it aloud, he was already to nervous. He thought about it, whisper would be good, so that was, he guessed, the only way to go without having everyone here.
He took a deep breath, and scooted closer to Lily. He leaned in. This was it, do or die, and he felt this knot at the pit of his stomach, causing him to stutter."Lily...er..w-would you like to...um..," he gulped saliva, "go out with me sometime?" He asked, a blush rising to his face, nervous as hell.
He scooted over, he was halfly afraid of what she might say, halfly of what George might say if she found out. So he just sat there in silence, waiting for her reply.

George was still at the window, being very still and very quiet....for once. She was quite satisfied with herself. Although she really wanted stay and see what happened next, but George could be considerate when she felt like it. And she felt like it now. Jimmy Crack Corn was already deathly afraid of her. And every time she opened her mouth Lily blushed and hid her face behind her hair.
In the stillness of the room, she could hear movement on the couch and a soft murmuring of a masculine voice. George grinned and nodded to herself. Her work here was quite done. There was the off chance Lily would say no and run out of here blushing madly. In that case, George would drag Birdie's butt back here and make her say yes. Or say yes for her.
But it probably wouldn't come to that. George quietly walked out the room. Now that this was accomplished, she wouldn't be upset if she ran into Coach Alex.
